Platjan is situted on the banks of the lovely Limpopo River in the Malaria free area of the African bush.

Platjan is the ideal break-away for Hunters, Backpackers, Birdwatchers, Fishermen or Businessmen looking for a good rest!

We are approximately 4½ hours by road from Johannesburg International Airport .

Right here on the banks of the Limpopo River you can enjoy the African Bush, fishing or watching game.

Game in the area includes:
Zebra, Kudu, Impala, Blesbok, Gemsbok, Bush pig, Baboon, Klipspringer, Porcupine, Hippo's, Crocodiles, Aardvark, Hyena and Leopard.

Birds that can be seen are secretary birds, cranes, kingfishers, the fish eagle and many others.

Our accommodation comprises of 2 x 3 bedroom chalets, 1x 2 bedroom chalets and a hunter's camp with 4 bedrooms (10 people). Click on accommodation to view detail!

Dining is available if arranged for Bar Lunches, Breakfast, Dinner.

Conference facilities available and the Lodge is very suitable as a wedding venue (Up to 50 Guests)

Catering is available on request.
